Our No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) here at the Bowen Neighbourhood Centre, it is still running. NILS can be used to purchase new whitegoods, and some other items depending on the circumstances and the item. NILS is for the community members who are on a lower income and or receive some income support from Centrelink. NILS so far this year has helped many people purchase the necessary items to better their living environment and to enhance their overall lifestyles. If you are interested in the NILS program please contact Bowen Neighbourhood Centre on 4786 2111 or just drop in during our opening hours to make an appointment.

We offer information, support, advocacy & referrals, for all people in the community, especially those experiencing crisis or emergencies.
Emergency Relief Assistance 2017 Mondays 10:30am to 11:30am Fridays 9:30am – 11:30am Please bring your Centrelink statement with you. All other times on emergency or referral basis.
