 No Interest Loans (NILS) provide individuals and families on low incomes with access to safe, fair and affordable credit.

Loans are available for essential goods and services such as fridges, washing machines, car repairs and medical procedures for up to $2000. Repayments are set at an affordable amount over 12 to 18 months.

  The Bowen Neighbourhood Centre offers support, information and referrals in relation to housing needs, legal assistance, domestic violence and other health and community related matters.

  Bowen Neighbourhood Centre provides home cooked meals for a minimal cost for homeless people or people experiencing severe crisis.

If you cant afford to pay for a meal please speak to the staff about an exemption from paying.
